Nailsea & District Community Transport
Nailsea & District Community Transport offers a fully-accessible minibus service for passengers who are elderly, frail or have a disability which makes travel by public transport difficult or impossible.
What Services Do We Offer?
Shopping
We offer shopping trips in Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead, Backwell, Long Ashton and the surrounding district. We pick you up at an agreed time each week and take you to your local shops. Our drivers will help carry your shopping to your front door if required.
Outings
We offer approximately 100 outings per year. Typical venues include cafés or restaurants for lunches and afternoon teas, shopping centres, garden centres and museums. These outings provide an ideal opportunity for you to socialise or simply enjoy a change of scenery.
Hires
Our minibuses are available to hire, with a driver, to transport groups of elderly or disabled passengers. Examples of our current bookings include outings for residential homes and retirement housing, transport for lunch clubs and medical rehabilitation meetings.
Dial-a-Ride
Our dial-a-ride service is ad-hoc transport for passengers who find public transport difficult to use. Please note: we are NOT a taxi service and do not have vehicles available at short notice; typically you would need to book transport three weeks in advance.
