Tailored Support for Everyone

People often find their lives turned upside down through no fault of their own. This could be due to an illness, bereavement, a personal accident, or even a global pandemic.

As a community we want to make it as easy as possible for people to access the support they need at a local level whenever they need it.

We also want to highlight the range of amazing services available in Nailsea.

You can use our Support Directory, drop in to No. 65, call the Town Council or request a brochure all of which will help you access the range of local groups, clubs and organisations that will provide the support you need.

Afterall, we all need a little help sometimes.

The Nailsea Community Group was launched March 2020.The Group runs a Facebook Community Group where people can request one-off support and volunteer work from the community. The Group can also provide an ID-verified ‘Community Buddy’ for people that require long term personal support such as shopping or companionship.

The Group will continue to run an emergency foodbank service until November 2020 to support members of the community suffering financially.

No. 65 High Street is a ‘place connecting people’ with support, advice and activities provided by a diverse network of groups and organisations. Once a shop, then known as Youth House we are an informal and welcoming community venue at the heart of the high street.
