That\u2019s one in fifty people<\/li>\n<li>Bipolar increases an individual\u2019s risk of suicide by up to 20 times<\/li>\n<li>It takes an average of 9 years to get a correct diagnosis of bipolar<\/li>\n<li>Bipolar has a huge impact on families and friends<\/li>\n<li>60% of people living with bipolar get no treatment or support for the condition<\/li>\n<li>People impacted by bipolar need specialist services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by bipolar.\u00a0 Peer support is at the core of our work.
